BALI

Adrian Skelton (Island Safari’s)

Sea, sun and loads of fun, Bali is the place to find all this, and so much more…

This small island, in the enormous chain that makes up Indonesia, is one that must be visited at least once in a lifetime.  Flying into Den Pasar is one of the most breathtaking experiences ever. The brochures with the promise of endless white beaches and palm trees but nothing can’t nearly prepare you for the force hitting you as you fly in for landing… Sparkling azure waters, green fronds as far as the eye can see, the cliffs of the Bukhit peninsula, which is home to some of the most spectacular surfing breaks in the world, is only the start to a holiday you’ll always remember.

There are a number of ways to spend your time in Bali but being such a culturally rich and spectacularly scenic island you need to get out there to explore, various packages are offered to suit each individuals needs.
If you are the more adventurous or budget traveller, the D-I-Y cheapie, is the way to go, which covers all the basic need and also gives you the opportunity to find your feet when you arrive and see how the system works and to decide where you would like to stay. Decent accommodation can be acquired from as little as R100.00/person/night. Fully inclusive packages are also offered.

There are so many sights to see in Bali it is hard to put it all down, from endless green, terraced rice paddies, towering volcanoes, crater lakes, monkey forests, where the monkeys are so tame they come and sit on your shoulder and try to take off your glasses!!!!  Sunsets in Bali are out of this world and there are many famed tourist spots to view them from.

If it’s culture you’re craving then take a trip through the local silver works town, Celuk and the world-renowned woodcarving and art markets in Ubud.

More in the mood for a relaxed experience...? Escape the madding crowd, head to the north of Bali with spectacular diving and quiet resorts where you can view dolphins catching waves a stones throw from your lounger…  These are just some of the amazing things too see and do in Bali.

To know more about this exotic Island go and experience it for yourself…There will be no regrets!
